Just saw an article where Sean Baker broke the record for most individual Oscar wins in a single night. This is like Adele-level of award show dominance
Walt Disney won 4 in one night once. However, Baker is the first with 4 in one night for the same movie. Disney’s were between a couple different projects.
It was a screen shot of a video from some YouTuber (I’d never heard of them) with a dumb face with like the most garbage design around him with a title of “is Anora the worst BP winner?!?”

I thought this was in this thread so when I went back I couldn't find it and when I went to his Twitter it wasn't there so I thought he deleted it bc he got shit on for such a dumb take but it turns out it's just that the post is from October and I was looking in the wrong thread
Not bad when you consider last year had Barbenheimer and this was considered an off year due to the strikes
Im suprised its down from last year, but i guess Barbie/.Oppenheimer pshued it last year. But this year was Conan. How much lower would it have gone if it were someone else...
idk, it just kinda feels weird that they made an anti-fascist story out of something that wasn't? but i haven't seen it and i'm also not an art/architecture expert
Cannot and will not take seriously any TikTok breakdown of The Brutalist. I swear even just watching ten seconds of that gave me a headache.
