I am a bit wary because of the amount of people that dislike part 2 for some reason. Part 1 was fine enough but I think the writing is weak.

It’s impossible to get a consensus “best movie of the year” but I’m not mad about the last 3 best picture winners. 3 good movies in a row have won. That’s impressive

What’s the worst loss of the past decade? The Irishman and the Fabelmans losing sting for me

 

I know it’s not the same as a loss, but one of the worst wins has still got to be Green Book beating out just about anything else nominated that year.

 

I don’t love any of the noms from that year.

 

The Fabelmans should have run the table that year, IMO.

 

i like that movie a lot but it should not have run the table that year, tar should have. in any case, it definitely should not have been EEAAO.

 

It was never going to win but Drive My Car losing to CODA
