update since I’ve seen them all Nickel Boys The Brutalist Anora Dune 2 A Complete Unknown Conclave I’m Still Here The Substance Wicked Emilia Perez
It started out so well too. She watches the exact real-estate show from the same couch position, I was doing a lot of pointing.
Mum asked me if hard truths is going to win the Oscar No I dont think it's even nominated Well he should of given it an ending. She could've got hit by a train or something.
Played catch-up on some of the BP nominees this week, including The Brutalist (beautiful to look at, but man, I could not get on this movie's wavelength), A Complete Unknown (had a great time!), and Nickel Boys (astonishing), so here's my ballot: 1. Anora 2. Nickel Boys 3. A Complete Unknown 4. Dune Part 2 5. Conclave 6. Wicked 7. The Substance 8. The Brutalist Haven't seen Emilia Perez or I'm Still Here. Might try to check one of them out today.

won’t be doing this i’d like to see i’m still here but my friend hasn’t been able to add it to the plex yet and i doubt i make it to a theater
Good movie. Loved the mood and use of color throughout the film. Won’t speak on the ending in case you want to watch, but I think people will either find it interesting or somewhat absurd.
No I saw it and really enjoyed it. Ending was definitely interesting and I still don’t know how I feel about it. Was just curious what others here think of it. I’ve unfortunately only seen that and Dune out of the BP noms.
excellent acting and a beautiful cast, it's hard because the banality is the point but there were definitely times where I was like come on it's been so long
I personally liked the ending but it did feel a bit out of left field—which is maybe the point. it’s not even close to my fav of the noms though
very entertaining easily digestible middle brow film with an airport novel plot that has some good performances and cool shots.
