Watching Poor Things now. I don’t think I like it, but it is at least better than American Fiction

 

I liked American Fiction a lot, and thought it was quite charming and clever *shrug*

 

I didn’t finish but actively disliked what I saw to the point of turning it off. Ill finish before the oscars

Out of all the Oscar movies I think Maestro has been the toughest to get through. Feels like an extremely overacted vanity project. I don't know if "actor-ey" is a proper pejoriative, but I feel like that is the best word I can come up with to describe it.

 

I think Ruffalo might be my personal pick for Supporting Actor. Loved his performance.
