Back in 2017 the official Oscars YT account waited months to post any clips from the ceremony (let alone the ending) because it was the year of the Best Picture mixup

This is a silly take. Just say in your opinion, you think they picked the wrong choice. The Oscars hardly has a great track record, but this one is understandable and just comes down to fine lines.

It's also dumb when people say 'remove a major component and it wouldn't work'... well no shit, you just created something... different? Of course it wouldn't work.

 

Lily obviously deserved it and KOTM in general should’ve won anything at all and the fact it wasn’t up for best adapted screenplay is a tragedy but let’s not act like this wasn’t a particularly competitive year for the Oscar’s

 

this is why i fucking hate the Oscars. Turning this shit into a competition makes everyone fucking weird. Just because you wanted someone to win an award and they don't doesn't invalidate their performance, and you don't need to invalidate another actors performance because your weirdly mad about it. All of this means nothing

just enjoy shit

 

during Emmy’s season I found out the wire never won an Emmy. that tells me all I need to know about all these awards shows.

yeah I liked poor things more than killers of the flower moon all in all. I'm saying the Oscars are racist and stupid spykid
