Frances has been to a bunch of events in New York and Anthony definitely was but I also don't like speculating and a lot of it is unfounded rumors
Everyone’s always saying they wish all the old hollywood execs and gatekeepers would just die off already, but then the Oscars comes along trying to grant that wish and everyone turns against it
If the Oscars were streamable in a widely publicized way for free (even with ads), instead of having to either have cable, have access to a streaming service that's showing it, or finding a way to pirate a live stream, I bet there'd be a LOT more people watching it.
i also don’t see a) andrew doing it with there being a chance he wins best actor or b) tom doing it since he filled his diaper so much about wanting spiderman best picture/marty
Are there any awards shows that do well with viewership anymore? Not that I've never watched one, but it's such a strange and self-important concept to expect people to want to sit there to watch people hand each other accolades for three hours. Especially when they can just follow along on twitter or something while they do other things.
