I liked Shape of Water, Spotlight, and Argo okay

I didn’t like the King’s Speech, Birdman was also bad, and I haven’t seen Green Book or the Artist

 

Ill honestly never get over The Social Network losing to The King’s Speech

Honestly I've never seen 12 Years a Slave, but I just gotta imagine it's better than my last two.

 

The Artist is bad

2. 12 Years a Slave (I enjoy watching The Wolf of Wall Street more, but 12 Years a Slave is the best film)
3. Moonlight (La La Land, but Moonlight was my second favorite)
4. Birdman (Boyhood, but Boyhood is my favorite movie of all-time, so I'm kind of biased)
5. The Shape of Water (Get Out)
6. Spotlight (The Martian)
7. Argo (Django Unchained)
8. The King's Speech (The Social Network, but there were 6 films I'd have been happy with instead)
9. The Artist (Moneyball, I guess. Idk was kind of a weak year for BP)
10. Green Book (The Favourite)

 

I need to watch The Florida Project again. That would high up there on my decade list.

King’s Speech beating the Social Network is the most egregious. Absolutely ridiculous.

You could also say the Artist over Tree of Life, but the latter never really had an actual chance.

 

Man, Spike Lee giving Bong Best Director and Jane Fonda giving Bong Best Picture was so perfect

 

Also shout out to the goddamn moron Academy member from the Hollywood Reporter story who said only American films should win Best Picture. Hope you had a good night last night.

I haven’t liked alot of the best picture winners. I don’t even like most the nominations per year on average.

 

Spotlight was so fucking boring

Putting any of the other BP winners this decade other than Parasite over Moonlight is absurd and shows your entire ass
