Knowing that Todd Hooper worked night and day, releasing the film partially unfinished because he was working until the last minute to meet an Oscar deadline, only to get nothing and watch a Korean class warfare drama win while his film was the butt of a joke almost makes the whole thing worth it.

 

A truly unholy director combo.

 

Still blows my mind they used the “What do you get...” line for Arthur Clownman’s Best Picture clip. Todd Phillips should be tarred and feathered for writing that line and Phoenix should have been disqualified from awards consideration for saying it.
