I still remember the article I read about an old white guy member producer who voted for 12 Years A Slave for BP without ever seeing it but did it in the name of white guilt... that’s the mentality of a lot of people in movie business I imagine

'Parasite' was one of the best-acted movies of 2019. Why didn't the Oscars recognize that?

Yah I drove an hour to hollywood when it was limited release to see it. So worth it.

I thought Parasite was gonna be available to rent this past Tuesday for some reason but it's not until the 28th

 

It came out to purchase digitally on Tuesday.

 

PGAs tonight. I was unaware of how correlated their best picture winners and the Academy’s winners are so it’ll be interesting to see what happens

 

1917 won best pic at the PGA awards btw.

 

Yeah 1917 is the favorite at the Oscars. I was already thinking it but this cements it.
