  2. Really surprised there wasn't a thread for this yet, I've seen it picking up a good amount of traction. Debut LP from the masked, reverb-drenched, LGBTQ+ friendly cowboy crooner paying tribute to classic country-western/rock and roll while forging a path of his own. There's a bit of Morrissey, a bit of Roy Orbison, a bit of Chris Isaak in there as well. It's quite good.

  3. Reminds me of Morrissey for sure, which is good because if I can have my Morrissey-ish vibes without supporting that fucking clown, that's enough for me. He's playing Dublin October 22nd, should I go?

Listened to this album the other week and quite enjoyed it. Like a less electronic Daughn Gibson.

Wasn't really able to get into his album, but I like this EP. Not sure what's changed (better music, more used to his voice, or just in the mood for it today) but I'll be given this another listen.

And wow getting Shania on a song... a country gay's dream

  20. Damn, I'm the opposite haha. Love the album, EP didn't do much for me but the Shania track is a banger!

I think I just honestly need to listen to the album again. I went in blind and it wasn't what I was expecting.

I like both the album and the EP but I feel like he hasn’t hit his potential yet. Could definitely see him releasing a great project someday.

Listening to this guy for the first time, and I'm so into it. Both Pony and Show Pony are fantastic.
