Another great one. This is shaping up to be a very strong album.

 

Listened a handful of times today. The singles released ahead of time do seem like all the strongest tracks, which is kind of disappointing. It's also not as cohesive as I hoped (though more than I expected). Good record altogether, but I don't see myself giving it many full spins.

This is so good. Big day for new Irish albums today. Listen to Villagers.

 

I am kinda the opposite — I immediately love just about every track on here and some of the non-singles, like Over Your Head and Codependency, are among my favorites. I feel like this will be, at minimum, a top 10 of the year album for me that could go as high as AOTY

Also I am probably the only person that this project appeals to who is least familiar with dodie’s music of the 4 in the group

 

If you haven’t given her You EP a listen before, that’s what hooked me. I also really love her most recent record.

 

I had no idea who Martin Luke Brown was before the announcement.

 

I didn’t realize he had an album out within the past couple months (and will now listen) but this song was my jam like 5 years ago

apparently he did some stuff in the mid 10s and then went away to just do production until recently

 

I really dig the couple songs I just listened to on the EP

I’ve always been familiar with the name but couldn’t have named a song but definitely plan on digging in deeper now
