Really loving this album. It's going to be a fun listen this summer. A handful of songs remind me a ton of Relient K, especially the last two tracks.

 

I hear MCS very, very sparsely so I don't really know where that's coming from but I hear Relient K all over their music.

 

I should read threads before I post in them. It appears I'm not the first to make that connection.

 

Hell his lower register sounds like Anthony from Bayside

 

Their song Footloose Cannonball Brothers on Gami Gang is so Relient K it's scary.

 

Wow the production issues I had with some of the songs is exclusive to Spotify/Spotify in my car because listening to it on YouTube or anything else it's so much better.

Fucking can't stand Spotify sometimes.

 

Shit, youtube does sound a ton better. Does spotify just suck? (All I listen to but, damn.)

Like the opener sounds incredible on YouTube. It's like night and day.

Apple Music supremacy

 

The opener, the one I Vince McMahon’d above, is like 4D chess on YouTube. It’s INCREDIBLE. More lush, brighter harmonies and sharper drums and chugging. It’s like looking through a window that was just washed.

Holy shit. Seriously, try it everyone. You have everything to gain.

 

If YouTube has better quality than your streaming platform something is wrong.

 

Yeah, Spotify needs to release that Spotify HiFi they announced because their platform is bad.

I usually just try to buy the album and play it off of Musicolet on my phone.

That’s how I initially heard about them too but they are so much more than a joke band lol

 

I just switched from Spotify to an Apple Trial then I'll try that Tidal Hi Fi and decide which ones. Shit I thought my car speakers were messed up and my headphones weren't loud enough and its just that Spotify sucks. smdh.

 

I know I’m in the minority here, but I use YouTube Music. I use YouTube Premium and it’s a bundle with it

 

I switched from Spotify to Apple Music last year, and I can’t see myself ever going back

 

They're all terrible companies so I might as well pick the one that sounds the best haha

 

I switched from Spotify to Apple when I learned they pay a lot more (but still very little) than Spotify. The added benefit was that I find the sound quality to be superior overall, and I'm fully in the Apple ecosystem, so it was an easy switch.

Also, I've been listening to this a ton and I love it, but I don't know whether to call it an EP or an album. Feels like too many songs for an EP, and too few for a full album. This makes me more uncomfortable than it ever reasonably should and I am fully aware of that fact.
