That was the song that immediately hooked me to this album.

 

Kobayashi, Second Best Friend and the closer are immediate entries in their best-of.

Also happy anniversary to Somewhere City, crazy that everything since has been even better. What a band.

 

I mean debatable ha. But certainly they kill it with everything they do.

 

They were incredible in London last night. It felt quite low energy from the crowd in comparison to how unhinged it was for The Wonder Years, but I'm sure they've won a lot of new fans.

This week was a great catalyst for me checking out the older releases too. It seems they don't really know how to write a dud song and can juggle a ridiculous number of music styles.

 

The opening riff of Second Best Friend just makes me bounce around my house.

 

Also, shoutout to my dog’s anxiety sleep playlist for absolutely fucking my top 100 songs of the year.
