I actually agree. I think The Brightest Days is a killer song, absolutely a blast, one of their best. I like Thank You, New Jersey a ton as well. The rest of the album I don't really care for.
The Brightest Days and Few and Far Between are such a pair of mountains as opener and closers, I truly wouldn’t care what was between them. Thankfully eveything between them kicks all sorts of ass.
I wouldn’t say this is a disappointment by any means, but it’s my least favorite out of Gami Gang and Somewhere City. I still love the album though.
I'm firmly in the "they leveled up on songwriting, production, melodies, vocals, literally everything" camp. I think this is so far and away better than everything that came before that I almost can't believe it. Haha.
Somewhere city is easily the weakest of the three. Honestly shocked anyone could prefer that to gami gang
Feel like the people that live in the emo thread on here prefer SC and the people that don’t prefer BD. Makes sense.
That doesn't just make it a "double album," it's only 50 min long. Does the band say it's two albums?
I mean, I can’t recall the band saying so, but almost every review I’ve read refers to it as double-album and the record was two LP’s.
