I was thinking this album reminded me of another band and I finally remembered! If you haven't heard this pop punk record it's one of my all-time favourites.

 

ABSOFUCKINGLUTELY. I loved this. It's a shame they broke up the same year it came out, one of the best records the genre has produced in years and one of the most forward-thinking too. Prog-pop-punk. Can't recommend it highly enough.

 

Yes! Did you ever hear this? It's the singer's solo stuff after they broke up. Basically the same.

 

Yeah it's a great EP, wish he'd put out something new though!

 

the way they layer all the different songs on the end track is absolutely incredible.

i can't get over how good this album is.

 

This album hits me in a new way every time I listen to it.

The reprise on the closing track is great and the way the album loops back on itself so you can just start it again without missing a beat is a brilliant touch.

The reprise and back to front loop are definitely things that would seem gimmicky on a lesser record, but there’s so much great stuff packed into this 30 minutes that the thoughtful organization really feels like they went the extra mile to make it a special listen

 

so surprised at how much i'm digging this

 

Plus it's super easy to rinse through this twice in an hour, it's so good.

 

Why?

 

idk what i was expecting when i hit play on this but it was definitely not blast beats

honestly haven't fallen for a record like this since never hungover again. i absolutely adore it. its so special. hope they get the world.

 

I quite liked this on first listen, then just randomly kept going back to it and now it's in top five this year, so so so good.

This has gotten an astronomical amount of play from me. The only track I've started skipping is Say Less.

If I had to designate a weak track on this album it would be that. Not that it means a lot when the whole album rips so hard.

 

are you me. i feel the same. not a weak song on this album but if i picked my least fav it would be say less

 

Imagine how much better the world would be if everyone started their day by jamming "Find Your Throne" . . .

 

This is pretty cool

 

Pitchfork gave it a 7, robbing it of justifiably being called best new music.

 

Pitchfork is trash so it’s fine either way really
