I hope not. As far as I remember about that situation there were no bad intentions on gami’s part. Just a messy situation between them and their former friend/label. These songs are tongue in cheek but definitely have a malice in them that I don’t think they would direct toward that person.

love the acoustic one, dislike this metal one. vocals ruin it for me personally.

 

I've been tricked, I thought I had liked the new EP so I went and searched for it again back at home, and it was totally different than what I could recall. So ofcourse those were two different EPs hahh. Probably won't go back to the other one too much (I just did a moment ago listening to both of them in a row though)

 

I feel like Origami Angel just did Seasons by Weezer in 2 EPs without doing Seasons by Weezer. And did it better.

 

I have no idea what is going on with these releases but I’m here for it. Gami always keeps me guessing. One of the best going right now

Think there will be more? Maybe 4 EPs instead of an album?

Both of these are super fun genre experiments and I like them for that, I wish more bands would just give one-offs like this a try.

Same here I was so damn confused. I listened to the metal one and I'm like I coulda sworn this does not sound what I listened to the first time.

Metal one was cool but probably won't go back to it. Other one, is just pure goodness.

Listened to Somewhere City again today and it's good but Gami Gang is such a massive step up in every way for me - and the production is a huge improvement too.

 

They moved the Philly show from the Church this Saturday to Union Transfer on November 21st, a Monday. Significantly bumming me out; not sure if I can make it on a Monday.

And I’ve never seen something like this go down four days before the show was supposed to happen. Not to mention, UT is a great venue, but it’s not the Church.

 

Saw them in Cleveland last night and energy in the room was unreal from beginning to end. Such a great show. Love these guys.

Yeah the show in Chicago tonight is sold out and there aren’t many resale tickets. Probably will pass because resale is a bit pricey but good for them for the success!
