One of the Mom Jeans guys was an asshole in high school and bullied someone to the point of suicide attempts. The person who originally made these claims has since deleted their tweets and the accused member left the band voluntarily, so it seems like the situation was resolved. I’m not sure if there was more to it than that, because a lot of the original claims have been removed/deleted, but bottom line is the problematic member is no longer in the band.
Oh actually, looks like this is right. I was going by a previous tweet that said he was “taking some time away from the band” in July 2020, but as of March 2021 it looks like they were recording the new album together.
Was gonna be sad because I personally can't stand Mom Jeans but then I was more sad because once again, a tour skips the PNW. This is good for Gami, though I hope that Mom Jeans situation gets a little more light shed on it.
Not a fan of MJ but Gami and Pool Kids. Yes please. saw Pool Kids open for TWY before covid hit and they put on one hell of a show. Now hopefully I feel comfortable enough to be in a super crowded room by November.
I know I’m super late to the game but I finally just checked out this band/album and holy shit. This is so fun and is going to remain on repeat
Proper just dropped off the Tiny Moving Parts tour. Big ups to them. Wish the bands on this tour would do that because of Mom Jeans.
Just going to throw this out there cause I'm desperate and sad. Any chance anyone in here grabbed an extra ticket to the Come & Take It show of the tour? I didn't think it was going to sell out as quickly as it did.
