I've definitely seen this clip in a show/movie! Anyone know where it's from? Love it and the Dewey clip.
I love the idea of it and the lead in, but the production change once self destruct kicks in almost makes self destruct seem quiet by comparison.
I remember being a kid and getting a free Terry Tate shirt from a shoe store(?) and not really having any idea who he was. Now I am an enlightened adult listening to GAMI GANG.
I came around to Tom Holland Oates, it’s now one of my favorites. Not sure why it didn’t stand out as much to me on first listen because it’s amazing and has so many great parts
i love how they sync the outro of the album and the intro in a loop on both LPs. so cool i'm blasting this in my car and the album ends and then restarts.
Just wanted to say to you all that if you’re a fan of this album and haven’t listened to the Palette Knife record, I think you’d be into it!
Okay this is my favourite album of the decade so far. Eclipses anything from last year imo. Gives me a "guess I still love pop-punk" feeling I hadn't had since The Upsides a decade earlier. Only fitting that in the Stereogum interview they said they're sometimes described as 'second-wave easycore' haha.
I have nothing to say except I feel this exactly. Them and Hot Mulligan have made me feel young again in reference to having energy for enjoying music passionately.
My thoughts exactly. They both have also become the two bands I listen to most when I have no idea what I want to listen to. I just throw it on and enjoy what I hear. Also: That Tom Holland Oats, Caught in the Moment, Dr. Fondoom run is hittin' just right this Friday afternoon.
