it's wild that Somewhere City gets better with each listen. so amped for this.

 

Really bummed I had to miss the Somewhere City “touring cycle”, they played STL the weekend before Christmas and I went to 100 Gecs the weekend before and had to go for family the weekend after, could really justify three weekends in a row.

 

last time I slept on a preorder it was like a full year till I could get a copy haha, not skipping this time

 

right - I don't even care about the variant just needed one haha

 

this bands art direction has never been great but I love fun so im all in on this. And a short rollout during the pandemic, ROCKS.

 

My good luck with getting their vinyl continues. Amped for this record.

 

Felt very fortunate to get the first pressing of Somewhere City, pretty sure it’s one of my best sounding records. Some of those later variants looked way cooler though haha

Got my first vaccine shot today and blasting Somewhere City now on the way home, this is the best fucking day.

 

Both new songs are sick! Very happy with them. The Acoustic one is absolutely beautiful & the other Is right up there with the best stuff on the last LP (which is pretty much every song)

 

You'll remember that forever. After my first shot, Car Seat Headrest's "Beach Life-in-Death" started really ripping as I pulled into the beach town I live in. Wanted to drive 200 MPH.

Gami was the last band I saw before COVID. They played a house show about 15 minutes from me which never happens with touring bands I like lmao. Somewhere City got me through some shit for those first few months after it came out. Can’t wait for new stuff.
