God damn an industry that mandates bands live on the road just to survive. I say that as a person who loves going to shows (even as more and more of them miss the Twin Cities because we are in the middle of nowhere, routing-wise) but I hate that these guys and any other band may be driving through bad weather or when they’re tired with a skeleton crew just to make sure they don’t lose money on the next gig.
Ok this is like a dream show for my partner and I. Gami was our first ever concert together and Prince Daddy is probably the second biggest "us" band we have so.....we're legit thinking of flying out for this and I want to propose on the trip. If anyone else is going and wants to be my covert camera person for proposal pics....I will buy your ticket(s) for the show lol.
Gami are by far my favourite "new" band and I get to see them for the first time in Australia tomorrow. Absolutely pumped. Hoping for a lot of Gami Gang tracks.
They opened for the Wonder Years on the Greatest Generation tour in Manchester in 2023 and were INCREDIBLE.
do they have a bass player live? i loved somewhere city so much but one of the things that bugs me about this band is the lack of low-end.
Yay a Sheffield date. Missed them when they played over here earlier this year as I couldn’t make the transport work, but will hopefully get a ticket this time!
Also excited about a Sheffield date. Almost nobody good comes here usually, it’s often skipped over for Leeds/Manchester/Nottingham
