Truly had no idea the explosion in this was a hot topic. Don’t think I even thought about it other than “gnarly as hell”

 

Blowing up a pile of TNT does not make anything close to a realistic-looking nuclear explosion. Should have used CGI

 

Yeah the movie explosion sucked

 

Realism is overrated

 

I think Nolan should have actually killed 100,000 people and Jason Clarke should have actually waterboarded people in Zero Dark Thirty

Didn’t know “fixed” meant “literally make something way worse” until this era of Reddit youtube “experts” started ruining good things - this is like the “remaster” stuff - just so bad.

Just looks like some stock footage dropped into the movie. Wouldn’t call it better .

 

not to keep this going but this “critique” is hardly any better (if at all) then your typical cinemasins caliber nitpicked. there’s a reason most of the people with this complaint stopped making it less than a couple weeks after the film came out

I hadn’t thought about this but you’re right and I’m thinking YouTube / TikTok content creation “critiques” really have put a burr in me for this kinda thing. I find it all so … shallow?
