Unlike his other releases, I’m not anticipating the new one as much. Oppenheimer is his magnum opus and I don’t think his next movie can top it. I’m worried I’ll be disappointed.
it could likely be one more great film of his among many regardless of it being "not as good" as oppie
i'd be surprised if it's on par with that, given that nolan apparently said the next one would much lighter this time around (or words to that effect)
That’s not what my comment was saying. Merely me thinking that Oppenheimer is near perfect and it’s incredibly hard to go beyond near perfect. I was speaking solely about me and my concerns regarding my expectations.
I'm branching out. It's not sci-fi, it's a spy movie about a spy who operates in the 4th dimension and saves a child along the way.
