The best Nolan project is Existentialism On Prom Night

 

dark knight would maybe be the best if they ended it with joker getting caught but unfortunately there’s like another 45 minutes after that lol

 

This is my personal favorite based on the material. As of which movie of his is better on technicalities….it would be that one film he made with that big actor.

 

Gotta say, the visuals we see for the Trinity test itself were pretty lame, hahaha. Like, it looks like it had the power of a semi truck filled with TNT and nothing more. Probably would have been best to have used some CGI for that, to give it some added ooommph. To wait two hours to see it, and turns out it’s a nothingburger

Josh Hartnett was also great in his role. His career deserves to take off again

 

probably two of my favorite performances from the film

 

I had zero idea that was Josh Hartnett cus I hadn’t seen him in a movie in forever

 

Probably the only reason I knew cuz he was recently in Black Mirror

 

Alden Ehrenreich was great, but I’ve generally thought he’s been great in everything I’ve seen him in.

Hartnett was good, but at times it his accent sounded like it was a Lt. Aldo Raine impression.

 

Hartnett gave such Val Kilmer vibes that I was like nah can't be him

 

Harnetts scene where he’s pleading with Oppenheimer to not continue down the path was ace

 

Please let that be fake.

 

Lol, if Adam McKay had made this movie he would have done that

 

good god this was astonishing. few off the dome notes,

- if you have the opportunity to see this in 70MM IMAX please do so it's like being on another planet
- this produced some absolutely stunning images. beautiful cinematography
-Cillian Murphy has to be a shoo in for best Actor
-Florence Pugh, lordy
-some parts just made my skin crawl trying to vocalize humanity reacting with the reckoning created on our behalf.

 

I think Blunt and RDJ are lock ups for supporting oscars, i want to wait to see how Leo is in KOTFM before i crown Cillian, though its gonna be tough not to.

 

yup both seem like locks hopefully Jesse Plemons can join them as well! very solid years of the flicks.

 

RDJ and Blunt definitely the highlights for me. Saw Barbie first yesterday so I got quite a laugh at the first shot of dudes riding horses.

 

man I'm bummed too see this I loved him in it.

 

Florence Pugh is beautiful.
