This thread is wild and I'm here for it. I like the "keeps getting better" prompt but am having a hard time with with it. The first one that came to mind is State Faults. This may be unhinged but I think I like each Pianos Become the Teeth album more than the last. Another unhinged one is Manchester Orchestra except for Cope, which is my least favorite. I'm also not counting Valley of Vision. I think I like each Foxing better than the last, but I'm on the fence with Nearer My God and Draw Down the Moon. If you end up connecting w MCS (my fave band of all time), I especially recommend Liquid Mike again. Power pop is much more my thing and those bands feel as rooted in that as they are pop punk
