I respect it, I really enjoy Infinite Granite. Roads to Judah is still a very solid album, I just like everything else more.
Infinite Granite is my third favorite. I loved the risk it was; I thought they pulled it off flawlessly. road to Judah is good. It def sounds more like an undercooked and worship of bands in the genre, but it’s still quality.
I have a soft spot for Roads of Judah since I heard that before Sunbather came out since I'm near the Bay area. But I would put it on the bottom half of their discography. I still recommend it though if you are a fan especially if you want to see how they evolved

I really like about half of Wrist. But I don't care for Mein, Combat, Pink Cellphone, and Rapture. And tbh I'm completely indifferent to Xerces. I find that slow, slightly hollow atmospheric thing more intense and captivating on a moodier, more despairing song like Deathblow from the self-titled. So even though there are killer songs on Wrist, I think it stumbles and lags quite regularly. The recent revision of it as one of their best is bizarre to me. Whereas I've always been a fan of the flow on Gore. Even the lesser songs on there are interesting to me in their context, and that slightly scratchy, blown-out, mid-heavy mix, though it unforgivably buries Abe at times, has this strange psychedelic appeal to me, which then grounds perfectly at the end with Phantom Bride and Rubicon. It's nowhere close to their zenith but I'd rather listen to it as a full album than Wrist.
To each their own, I guess. I think Rapture rocks, I find Xerces to be a somber but powerful song, and while it took me some time for Mein, Combat, and Pink Cellphone to grow on me, I do appreciate them as interesting breaks in the album's flow, although I tend to skip over that final bit of Cellphone still... Meanwhile, Gore I have just bounced off every time I've listened to it. Being honest, all of Deftones' latter era albums took time to grow on me, and while I once bounced off Koi No Yokan and Ohms, the former is now one of if not my favorite album of theirs and Ohms is just sensational. Gore though has still not been able to get anywhere with me. I literally could not tell you how a single song on that album goes, and I've listened to it multiple times.
I'm with @JM95 . SNW has grown on me over time and I appreciate it for being a transitional record with some really high highs, but as a whole, I find Gore to be more fleshed out and cohesive (feature me for, ubg for others perhaps). I also just reach for it a lot more often as far as underrated Deftones records go. Also, re: Deafheaven - Roads to Judah is very good and people should listen to it.
Roads to Judah is a vibe. I don’t think it has peaks quite as high as their other albums, but I value the consistency in the mood of Roads to Judah over Ordinary Corrupt Human Love and Infinite Granite. I feel more compelled to listen to RTJ in its entirety than those two
