Success. A perfectly charming little movie! It was kinda just Frozen for boys. A stealth movie about the power of siblings wrapped in a loose fantasy world
Easily the worst Pixar movie outside the cars sequels. Overall the movie was fine but nowhere near Pixar quality. Not terrible but I expect more Edit; I'll add monsters u to lower. I'll need to rewatch brave again but if you're in the brave tier of Pixar, then you're not looking good
As a movie this was okay but having limited memories of my dad who died in the same fashion as the movie’s dead dad and a much older brother that had to step up this fucked me up thoroughly lol
I rewatched brave yesterday ...its much better than I remembered. In fact everything up until mom turns into a bear was actually quality A+ pixar. The first 40 minutes is excellent and has the bits and pieces of being an awesome epic... Unfortunately for me once mom turns into a bear it dips. Becomes too silly and average. But overall it's not that bad. Still lower tier because the rest of the library is strong but not as bad as I remembered.
