Caught up and this show continues to be such a good show

    Things have changed.

Really no clue who the murderer/s is/are going to be. I don't think it's the last person they ended this episode on.

this is probably a stupid guess (based primarily on vibes and predictability), but my suspicion is that it's a collaborative effort between the screenwriter and Molly Shannon's character. i have a theory on a motive, but i'm gonna wait until the finale to see whether they align.

This is definitely my thoughts as well the reveal felt not big enough imo

  6. I thought that for a bit, but they stressed that whole “this goes back to season 1!” thing enough to where I feel like it’s gotta include someone that’s been in the show for a while? Don’t know who that would even be at this point though. Maybe it’s revealed that Molly Shannon is like, Amy Ryan’s sister or something crazy lol.

my other thought (and it's a stretch) is that it might be Jackie Hoffman or Da'Vine Joy Randolph, just because either one of them seems constantly annoyed by the trio, but that feels more like a cop-out. my theory re: MS involves her being involved since the beginning, but it's a huge stretch. so i have no clue who it is or why they did it other than suspicions based off their personalities.

Alright so like, I honestly can’t tell if I’ve just been watching a few too many things at once and at erratic intervals

Did we ever find out what deal Mabel worked out to sell her life rights? I feel like we waited the entire season for that reveal and it never came

A little disappointed with the killer reveal - not only do I feel like this season kinda set us up to expect another wrinkle, but Sazz’s aspiration to become a writer really came out of left field. It feels like a cop out to go that direction without at least throwing some breadcrumbs in there along the way. But again, maybe I missed something

The wedding was very sweet :)

All signs for next season seem to point towards the history of the Arconia? Wonder if it was mob owned or something. Following the final reveal I had go back to hear what Lester said earlier - he was married in the courtyard, under the stars with the fountain as their witness. Excited to see where that goes

An inconsequential shift as the continents drift.

this season was all over the place and yeah they left a whole lot of unanswered questions that are bugging me, but in a vacuum that was up there with my favourite episodes of the entire show. I teared up when Charles was on the ledge asking for Sazz to tap in and Oliver did it instead and basically didn't stop until the end. Winnie, Will and Dickie showing up for the wedding was adorable as all hell. where the fuck was Detective Williams though???

killer reveal was definitely ehh, but props to the actor who played him because he was easily the most despicable killer on the show so far. I actually cheered when he died lmao. they did my man Lester dirty as hell but "all he does is let in murderers" is one of the funniest lines ever lmao. it seems like next season is gonna have a lot on its plate, I'm hoping it's a little more focused than this

So next season’s killer must have something to do with the tease we got earlier this season from Eugene, Zack, and Eva, right? They figured out that someone’s been stalking them since season one (poisoned the dog, left threatening notes on the door, etc.) and none of that had anything to do with Marshall stealing Sazz’s screenplay as that was much more recent. So that means their stalker is still out there, right?

Next season cast is gonna be huge huh? Cuz what was the point of the film actors and the Westies without much of a conclusion

  18. Yeah I guess I didn’t really consider that they’re maybe playing the long game with the unanswered stuff. That hasn’t really been the routine for them across the first few seasons so I didn’t really expect a pivot to a bigger arc

100% think they just forgot about some of these plotholes like the Winnie stuff/Jan's note and they're just working them back in where they can. not to be cynical but I'm seriously doubting they've planned a long game since s1 and stuck to it the whole time

    I do not exist.

Watched the final two episodes last night. I thought it brought it together well - this season definitely felt like they tried something different compared to the first three. I kind of like and respect that BUT I’d say that it didn’t work as much with the one episode a week release schedule. I think if I’d watched these episodes more bunched together I would have enjoyed and appreciated it more.

I watched it all within a week and it definitely binged well, getting immediate payoff after cliffhangers is always nice

I only just realised this season was the first without Teddy or Theo whatsoever, hope one or both come back next season
