Been listening to this almost nonstop for the last four days and have no regrets

 

Leap Years has the best chorus I’ve ever heard lol

loving this album so much

 

First listen was more positive than their last album, but this band is still not quite reaching me as much as I'd like. Going to keep trying though cause I see a spark in this one

 

This record just keeps getting better on repeat listens. No skips all bangers.

 

I've grown obsessed with the bridge around 1:44 in Topanga

But I hope that all of this makes me happy

 

At first listen of So Far From Me the guitars were straight out of Jimmy Eat World's Clarity, which is never a problem. Loving this album!

 

wow I found my way here from the Knocked Loose thread, this album is absolutely phenomenal. to my ears they're picking up where Funeral for a Friend left off

 

I think the same thing every time I listen to this album.

 

yeah this would’ve sounded so good blaring out of the house I rented with some buddies when I was 20

the Songs for the Willow EP is almost as good as this, insane

 

I actually do still think I prefer songs for the willow

 

It’s good. Turn to Me still might be my favorite song from them

 

First time listening to this band. Dude sounds SO much like Parker from TSSF

 

Especially on Topanga. My partner asked when TSSF started screaming when he heard that song haha

 

The last three songs on this are ridiculously good. The whole thing is but those are my favourites for sure.

 

This is my AOTY so far. Nothing else has gotten this many repeated plays

 

I think it's mine as well. B&C might be it though come October.

According to last.fm this is already my most played album of the year. Had to force myself not to listen much this week so I didn't burn myself out.

 

I had a little chat with One Step Closer at Slam Dunk last weekend, which is live now for those who wanna check it out.

 

My favorite album of 2024 so far. Ditto the comments on the singer sounding like Parker. Spotify also seems to agree because it auto-plays the new TSSF song every time I finish So Far From Me.

 

Mid noughties Comeback Kid/Close Your Eyes flavours all over this. I dig.

 

I have 2 tickets to One Step Closer, Anxious and Koyo for this Friday (6/28) in Columbus. I unfortunately can no longer make it. Selling both for $20 each.

 

So pumped for my show Sunday this album is right at the top of my favs of the year
