Esruc sounds a lot like anberlin in the verses. I swear I wanted to say “when your only friends are hotel rooms” when the vocals start lol

 

After playing this nonstop since Thursday night - I think my favorite tracks are: Color You, Blur My Memory, Your Hazel Tree, Topanga, and Giant’s Despair.

There isn’t a single bad track on this though. Easily a top 10 of 2024 for me.

 

Gonna drive from Oakland to Santa Cruz just to see these guys in July with Koyo. Not big on Anxious but Koyo’s Would You Miss It? is one of the best pop punk records I’ve heard in a long time (probably cause it veers heavily on hardcore) so this tour is a no brainer.

Hoping OSC’s setlist is heavy on this new record and not as much the previous one.

 

This reminds me a lot of Such Gold - Misadventures, but I think I like it better

 

Yeah that tour is gonna be great. I’ve still never listened to anxious but I know some people who think they’re the best band on the tour. I find that pretty hard to believe considering how good Koyo and OSC are though.

 

This is gonna be a summer banger.

Both koyo and anxious are good. Don’t love either of the last two records but I believe their next ones will be legit AF. Should be an awesome show.

Album is great front to back. Leap Year and Giant's Despair were my favorites pre-release and they remained the stand-outs.

 

Anxious’ last album is so good

 

this feels, to me, like a more successful take on what anxious was doing on their lp

 

I'm really curious to hear what the new Anxious stuff sounds like after hearing this. I don't want them to be too similar.

 

This album fucking rocks. I want to run through a brick wall whenever I listen

 

Leap year is in my head every god damn moment of every god damn day

 

This release has finally made the band click for me.

 

Slow to Let Go’s chorus is incredibly catchy.

crazy how young this band is. Lot of progression in a short amount of time
