been caught up on the manga for awhile but i'm finally watching the anime. manga is overall better so far but there are a few scenes that just hit more emotionally in the anime.
Excited to watch this! Sounds like overall good reviews. This truly shot up to my favorite manga over the last year after somewhat recently binging it.
Just finished the live action. Liked it, definitely a fun watch, although parts feel very rushed along. The set pieces are great though, and I like the cast for the most part. Hope we get a second season just to see where they go with it and to see if they make any other changes.
This is how I feel they’d have to divide the live action: s2: Loguetown-Alabasta 3: Skypeia-Enies Lobby 4/5: Thriller Bark-Marineford (could either split into 2 seasons with 4 ending on the cliffhanger of the Strawhats getting split, or I guess they’d have to make a longer season or everything condensed?) 6: Return to Sabaody-Dressrosa 7: Zou-Wano
This was a lot of fun How much of the anime does the first season cover? Curious to watch it and see how the adaptation differed but unsure how much of a time commitment that would be
I read it all on the Shonen Jump app on my tablet. For $3/month you can read as many chapters of all their series as you want. Soooo worth $3.
Bumping this thread cuz I’ve gotten back in the habit of watching this and I swear I’m actually gonna catch up this time! (In high school I was maybe 80 episodes behind and am somehow now ~400 behind and it kills me every time I get spoiled on something)
just got to the wano arc in the anime. 900 eps in. I started water 7 in July I think wooooo unemployment. gonna be weird to be caught up
Already shared this in the anime thread. But WIT Studio and Netflix will be doing an anime remake of One Piece starting with East Blue
