"You know, I used to be in 1D (now I'm out, free)" rhymed with: "One Coke and Bacardi (sippin' lightly)" rhymed with: "When I walk inside the party (girls on me)" rhymed with: "F1 type Ferrari (6 gear speed)" I'm sorry, I can't get over this fucking song and how terrible it is
my friend is a Liam Stan and she is like in love with the song and I'm like HOW I mean I'm a resident harry Stan but at least his stuff was decent
I guess I'll be the one to say it... this is a big step up from Strip That Down. Meaning, this one is actually listenable!
I know everyone loves to throw jokes at Louis for being the weakest singer and whatnot, but honestly this is a catchy song. Found myself humming it randomly the last few days.
His self aware interviews leave me conflicted. I'm like well u get to coast on mediocrity so I don't feel that bad, but when they are aware of the mediocrity it's just kinda sad haha. But imo a great voice isn't always required, so I'm interested to hear his album to see if he brings anything else to the table. I don't mind his songs so far. I thought his other song was cute but I also associate it closely with his mom's death so it has a soft spot So far I'm probably like Harry>Niall>Zayn>Louis>Liam with a very marginal gap between Niall/Zayn and Louis/Liam. I wish Harry wouldn't release Two Ghosts as the next single. I don't mind it but the Taylor thing is just done and booooring
I... actually probably agree with your ranking haha. Harry is easily my favorite for sure, I may rank Zayn above Niall a bit still (I'm a sucker for Weeknd-lite music no matter how basic), but Niall's stuff has been solid. The less said about Liam the better haha Two Ghosts is far from my favorite by Harry, but I guess I get why it's a single since many of the songs on his album are SO classic rock heavy that I can't really see them as pop radio singles in 2017 lol
Harry's album has grown off me sadly. Some songs get too repetitive like how Sweet Creature says the title what feels like a hundred times
Yeah it's not the most creative album in terms of song structure or anything haha... I still come back to a fair amount of it though.
Every time I say that I wished I liked it more, somehow I have still found myself basically listening to it on repeat. Also I missed Liam's new song apparently????
Haven't listened yet but I hope I like the non-singles more than the singles, which didn't quite strike me.
That new Liam track, "Bedroom Floor" is probably my favourite thing any of the members have created individually since the hiatus. The falsetto, the addictive nature of the melody, there's just something about it that's so immediate. I really enjoy it.
