    All the masters over 70 need to grind. I would have let him watch the new PTA twice but then it is time to get serious.

    Agreed, but I will say that none of his post-Master films have stuck with me very much outside of a stray scene or two. I should run through his filmography again. I hope this one is a return to form.

  23. I go to bat for Inherent Vice. Phantom Thread was good, but I don't have much desire to revisit it. Licorice Pizza did not really work for me, unfortunately.

    Inherent Vice is a top 10 movie for me. One of those movies I can throw on any day, so much fun. I don’t love Phantom Thread. Licorice Pizza rules.
