january 20th I guess

 

Meant to come back and confirm that 1) I enjoyed this a lot and 2) I did NOT have to get up to use the bathroom during it.

It was a bit more satirical and farcical than I thought, but not necessarily to its detriment. I mean I did not expect that a movie being discussed as a best picture contender was going to start the way it did.

My favorite part - the whole middle section when Leo was with Benicio and plotting on how to get out of town and moving around the different locations, was an absolutely fantastic segment I can't wait to watch that part again. The music, the choreography, the sounds and the resolution to that whole sequence (LOL) was perfection.
