man, the universe is really not wanting me to see this

was on my way to the theater for the 3:15 screening and the entire AMC system is down. couldn't get any of AMC to load on the app or fandango. guess I'll try again at 7pm

The theater should be able to swipe the card you paid with to buy the tickets and print them there?

I wasn't even able to book a ticket. Thought about just trying to get one at the box office but didn't want to risk getting there and not getting to see the movie.

It's an hour later and the AMC app and all their theaters on Fandango are still completely DOA.

I also have A-List and booking a ticket without the app or Fandango (in person) is always a pain.

I’ve been trying to avoid seeing anything about this because I won’t be able to see it maybe at all in theaters but the hype is getting out of control. I’m seeing very hyperbolic praise for it everywhere already and I didn’t even think it was out yet. I might have to prioritize getting to a screen

Haven’t had this feeling of “damn I’m watching a masterpiece right now” in the theater since maybe…There Will Be Blood???

It’s crazy how much of the trailer is from the last 45 minutes of the movie

This was so good. Absolutely did not feel its length at all, and everyone was massively entertaining, with special attention to Del Toro.

Felt so bad for the poor girl, to know you’re Sean Penn's kid? Fate worse than death. Everyone in my theater audibly groaned when he appeared alive walking down the highway. Glad it was just for him to die twice.

Really made me think of Burn After Reading for some reason, even though they're really not alike.

An inconsequential shift as the continents drift.

def some Coen Bros energy in this thing
