Rewatching all his movies leading up to this....I always had Pulp Fiction as my #1 but after rewatching it last night, I think it’s behind Basterds and Reservoir Dogs for me. I don’t know if this is the consensus opinion but the middle section with Bruce Willis as the boxer just does NOT hold up. It has some fun moments but just kinda plays like an extended sick joke with no real purpose. And Willis’s character is so bland compared to Jules and Vincent.

It's so wild that Paul Rust is in Inglorious Basterds. How wasn't that an IWTT???

since tons of websites are playing the Tarantino ranking game today ill go:

    Inglorious Basterds
    Kill Bill (as a whole)
    Pulp Fiction
    Jackie Brown
    Hateful Eight
    Reservoir Dogs
    Django Unchained
    Death Proof

these rankings change on a weekly basis basically, except for the bottom 2.

agreed for me with Reservoir Dogs, I still think its a great film but rewatching it again semi-recently its definitely not quite what I thought it was first time around (I still love it). Pulp Fiction still holds up for me in every way, no matter how many rewatches.

Parts are definitely overindulgent, even for a low key QT flick. They say the N-word too much

by contrast, each time I watch Jackie Brown it gets better and better. have a feeling one day my love for it will only be eclipsed by Basterds

Reservoir Dogs is very much his student film. It isn't bad, but it doesn't have nearly as much going on as his run from Pulp Fiction to Inglourious Basterds.

They added a 440 show for my theater, just in time for when I get off work. Much better than 740
