I love this album so much I feel like i need to comment about a couple of my choices: Gates (The Obituaries was the song that got me into the band but Gates is my second favourite song of the entire decade) Mexican Guitars Casey Sculptors and Vandals (Tom's two best songs imo. Sculptors wins for the 'walk home single seeing double' outro.)

I'd take Sun Hotel over Ava House, the title track, Nice Things, Freedom Bridge and about 75% of the band's non-OTIP output (which I also love). And over 99.99% of recorded music in history.

This album couldn’t end in anything but brutal matchups but I didn’t think we’d get sculptors vs burn this soon. Gates Good Things Casey Sculptors Gates is so good and was my first favorite menzos song good things vs Mexican guitars is tough but the bridge of good things is such a high energy moment I’m gonna give it the edge. Casey was the easiest choice. Nice things is cool, but Casey is so perfect. “We could live and no longer just have to hear it“ will never not make me feel like running through a brick wall. giving sculptors the edge in the last matchup because I know it’ll get crushed. These are my two favorite menzingers songs and I couldn’t imagine choosing between them.
Gates "You'll carve your names into the Paupack cliffs, Just to read them when you get old enough to know that happiness is just a moment" Mexican Guitars Cause the bridge to that makes me wanna run through walls Casey Because it is probably still my favourite Menzingers song. The way the drums accent the vocals in the last part of the second is one of my favourite little touches in their music and it's a near perfect song. Burn After Writing Just an absolute banger.
The Obituaries Good Things Casey Burn After Writing Some tough ones this round for me, particularly Casey vs. Nice Things. This album is fantastic!
