This thread is reminding me to relisten to TMV and ATDI haha... listened to some of his solo stuff but I need to find the time to dig deeper.

 

Speaking of Omar, is the new ATDI album still a thing that's happening??

 

It is, at some point haha. Omar and Cedric always have things going on (an entire Antemasque album has been ready to release since last December) and take their time it seems. The question seems to be "when" not "if"

 

Holy shit Weekly Mansions, this album is not what I ever ever ever would expect to have come from Omar, hah!

Zapopan is enjoyable, it's all re-imagined versions of songs off Unicorn and Saber... definitely like these more than those two albums at least

The last of the 12 albums is out on the 16th and features Cedric on one track, yayy

 

I'm being a terrible fanboy, I haven't listened to any of the past 6 or so albums. I'll be all over this one though for the Cedric track.

 

if it helps, every single one is only 35 minutes, so getting through them is way more manageable than their hour plus output

you right, you right, i keep getting in my pattern of wanting to start chronologically and that's not always possible with discographies this huge. it's like a giant game of catch up that never ends
