"brutal" into "good 4 u" into "jealousy jealousy" works so well, just want a full album of chunky guitar.

Just finished listening to the album. One of my favorites of the year so far. Absolutely beautiful, and the lyrics hit me so close to home. I have major insecurity issues, so songs like “enough for you” and “jealousy, jealousy” are like she put my exact thoughts into a song. “1 step forward, 3 steps back” made me almost bust into tears (hard for a song to make me do) because that song describes exactly how I felt in my past relationship. 10/10, I want to see her in concert as soon as I can. Also, sorry for the long post!

  8. Listened to this on the way home from work today after largely ignoring her because I thought this one song I really hate was her but it isn’t and man was that dumb. Shit rules.

  25. I definitely felt this way when Lorde’s Melodrama was released. Albums like this are so important - for confronting those relationships head-on and destroying the "other woman is my enemy" bullshit. I'm glad you're getting so much out of SOUR; music has such power
