brutal is a great opener. On my third listen and I absolutely love this and will be paying an absurd amount of money to put these songs on the bar jukebox.

Almost any of these songs could be a single.

 

the decision to not break-up all of the "sour" emotions songs (which, I get what she was going for) with literally any other emotion really hurts this album for me. intensely repetitive lyrics.

 

Played brutal for my classes today. Great response, I had kids who typically only talk to me about rock commenting about how much they liked it! Really interesting, brave choice to have the opener on your debut pop album be a riot grrrrrl inspired punk track

Beethoven's full-lengths are good, but I'm particularly fond of his EPs and mixtapes.
