Her Kimmel performance of "ballad of a homeschooled girl" is so so good.

 

Just watched it, she's got such amazing stage presence

 

Really didn't expect to listen to it numerous times since too. I normally listen to pop albums once, think it's good and never go back to them. I must be getting older, the music snob in me is slowly disappearing!

New song would have fit very well on any of the other “Hunger Games” soundtrack. Folksy like the first soundtrack and Lorde-y like the one Lorde produced.

 

Olivia and Dan are just pure magic, the song is of course amazing and perfectly encapsulates the vibe of the hunger games franchise, can’t wait for this song to blow up

"girl i've always been" is like nothing I would expect from her at all, almost country-adjacent

 

"obsessed" is fun, but easily the weakest of the upbeat tracks, makes total sense why it didn't make the cut.

 

"scared of my guitar" is nice

 

"stranger" is my least fav of them

 

I actually think Obsessed should have made the album! track is a huge bop. at 39 minutes for the album I think adding it on wouldn’t have hurt

 

I haven’t heard any of these bonus songs. But, having spent a lot of time with this album this past month, I think it’s pretty perfect as is. Love how it flows from song to song.

 

This is top 10 of the year easy, I love it.

 

Yeah I didn't expect to be so into it but it's probably in my top 10 too.

 

Probably second 10 on my list. I like it a lot, but the second quarter of the record definitely sputters a bit for me.

 

This will definitely make my top 10, which is pretty wild because it's been a loaded year for me.

 

debating picking up the 4 bonus tracks EP tomorrow on RSD but also don't really want to spend like 30 bucks on it either haha

 

i can definitely see them pressing more copies down the line. the record store in my parent's town will be open at 8 tomorrow, but i don't know if my partner and i are willing to stand in a long line early in the morning to just grab a couple songs. we will stop by later in the day and if there are any more, i'll definitely pick one up.
