it was so surreal to physically be there in person, its almost indescribable to see an artist of her scale play a stripped down, more emotional set to a theater sized room, especially when she's playing arenas next year.

i'd love to see her do more of these stripped down sets, theater sized rooms in other cities.

For real. I'm not going through the RSD hassle for it. I just want it on streaming. I'm hoping it gets put up like a week or so afterwards.

 

part of me wonders if there will be a waiting period for digital, similar to how other RSD titles are held back from streaming for a short period of time. i hope not because i'd love to have easier access to these songs than vinyl rips.

i was also holding back from purchasing this album on vinyl until there was a better way to get the bonus tracks (i.e. not buying 4 copies of the same album). but the pressing count is limited to 6,000, and my closest record store doesn't participate in RSD. hopefully more of these are pressed down the line.

 

“All-American tits” is a very funny series of words. But, as someone who’s blasted that song in my car a lot, “hips” works perfectly in context, after “bitch” & “lips.”

Gosh, what a fucking banger of a song that is. Might end up my favorite song of the year.

 

I definitely filled in the blank as “tits” the first time I heard the song but was not shocked when she ended up saying something else lol

lol I actually didn’t notice it and assumed hips was always the lyrics mostly because I don’t really expect to hear “tits” in a song, let alone an Olivia Rodrigo song

The way she sings "hips" in that song is one of my faves so I'm glad she kept it
