After listening to this for a week, I think it's pretty much on par with Sour, which is an incredible feat.
Man, even the songs I think I'm more middle of the road about on this album, I listen to them again and they're so good
The most surprising thing about this thread to me is how low everyone here rates Logical and Making the Bed. Those are two of my favorite tracks on the album. I would rate Guts higher than Sour and as a whole feel it will have a way stronger repeat listen appeal over time.
Partner got me the album on vinyl and on a straight listen through it's still fantastic. Love the tight runtime/track listing, variation in the rock + ballads, and all the great bits of musicality sprinkled throughout. Also turns out it had 'Obsessed' as the bonus track and I did not know that was coming... and was FLOORED! You could say I'm obsessed with that song. It freaking RIPS!
Are the bonus tracks on all the vinyl options? I see target has in stock, kinda want to just go get it now
I think the red from her site and then other stores (like Target) will have Obsessed on it. There were three other variants on her site and each had a different bonus track.
There's always the most random records like "first number one while mercury in retrograde falls on a Tuesday of the winter solstice"
