I find myself listening to this pretty much every chance I get since Friday.

 

Never listened to anything by this artist before and tend to (unreasonably and instinctively) hate popular things, but I'm trying to change that. Justin Pierre from Motion City Soundtrack said this may be his album of the year.

Is this a good place for me to start with her stuff or should I start elsewhere?

 

she's only got two albums, so might as well start with her first one SOUR

 

she’s got barely over an hour of music, pick either album!

Funny he said that because when she sings “social suicide” I immediately thought of MCS.

 

i've been obsessed with get him back! since Friday. 100% the best song on the album and probably better than anything on SOUR

only two I haven't really been able to get into much are lacy and logical

 

Other than a break to see Beck and Phoenix last weekend, this is the only music I've listened to since its release.

My favorite cuts:

4. all-american bitch
5. pretty isn't pretty

It's really good.

 

Still wish she was more varied musically on the ballads, but she’s still one of the brightest and most interesting new pop stars in years. Album keeps growing on me.

 

I will say this: I remember hearing drivers license a ton on Instagram because I kept getting ads for it for months, seeing it in reels, etc. Didn’t get that same experience with Vampire

 

I don’t know how many exmormons are part of this community, but this was cool

 

Got my signed vinyl from Target this afternoon. Cool to get a little bonus on something I was going to pick up anyway!

Y'know I didn't think there was something Justin Pierre-ish in her endearing and non-douchey snark and references until hearing he loves the album, but now I kinda do.

at quick glance I thought that said fuse.tv arena and I was super confused
