I can't believe the female artist didn't completely upend and change her whole visual style for a new era!!!!

Generally speaking I get not wanting artists to be stagnant but I think it's different when Dan and Olivia made one of the best debut albums in recent memory

It was hard to imagine her releasing something that would measure up to all the hype and expectations placed on her from external forces everywhere but she once again smashed it out of the park in similar fashion to the way she did by following up Drivers License with Deja Vu.

Hearing that song and watching that video felt like more of an experience than I've felt listening to most entire albums thus far this year.

i think its probably my favorite song of hers even just off a couple listens, this album is about to be special

 

Oh wow this is immediately her best song

 

This rich, sophisticated sound is so refreshing to hear in mainstream pop. Sorely needed. Texturally the melodies remind me a bit of fun.
