Album is good! I think I like the back half more, but will need more listens. The only song that didn’t really do anything for me was Lacy. Really dug the rest.
You took the words right out of my mouth. She does go back to the well a lot, especially that ascending scale that's in a few of her ballads. But her music is enjoyable nonetheless.

I don't know if I'd consider him part of the scene but finding out Ian Kirkpatrick produced Stacy Clark's first album (indie pop/electronica artist discovered on ap.net's Absolute 100 feature back in the day) that I had been listening to for a decade at that point, and that it was his first ever production credits blew my mind. Dude went on to such bigger things. That song featured Aaron Marsh as well
