That was probably my least favorite song on first listen haha, actually found some of it to be kinda grating towards the end

This record is really, really fun.

 

Disappointed that the build-up at the end of “Vampire” doesn’t segue into the next song!

“Ballad of a Homeschooled Girl” gives me 90s alt rock vibes. The chorus especially reminds me a lot of like… Everclear. I love it.

 

Get Him Back sounds like Pepper by the Butthole Surfers or am I losing my mind

On first listen get him back was a standout to me.

 

This is immediately really great.

The way she sings “ignore” in “All-American Bitch” reminds me so much of something that I can’t quite place. Not like she plagiarized it or anything (definitely don’t want to do that discourse again), just something about her tone and that interval feels so familiar.

All-american bitch is a rad opener. The album is giving me big early 00's nostalgia so far.
