Man, the riff on this part kills me every time.

 

Gosh it's good. The whole concept of that album is great upon reminiscing. God returns to earth, defeats Satan in a thousand-years-old prophecy, and then just ups and leaves what's left of humanity to fend for themselves in the wreckage while they realize that is no true epilogue.

 

aaaand I totally forgot Dealers of Fame, what a good night. Thank you for reminding me of this album lol

So soon after the shows and so soon after the diagnosis. He only found out he had cancer in August. So fucked

 

Really sad. My thoughts are with all his family and friends and my thoughts are also with all of us who have listened to music that he’s been a part of. Sending love to all impacted in this thread.

 

Glad so many active musicians gathered to ensure financial and emotional security for him before passing. Fuck, that was so fast. Wearing his Oak&Hatchet clothing/hats is going to be a privilege from now on.

New album out July 12th. Micah says "No but for real this time" at the show in Dallas lol. So, 2 1/2 months.

He also said back in a November podcast that the plan was to release 4 songs by March. Label must not have been on board with that idea after signing.

I can’t wait for this album, high expectations!

 

Neither song has really gripped me yet but I remain very excited. The vinyl variants look sweeeet.

 

Entitled post: was really hoping for more than 10 songs after 5 years, and Oxygen didn't need to be here...not gonna listen to any other singles because now we're already left with only 7 unheard tunes.

Still super exciting, nonetheless. Just a smidgen of a bummer.
