Just found this band and they are amazing

These pictures are potato quality and nearly ten years old, which is insane to me. Saw them on tour with The Chariot a few months before SotM came out. I said what’s up before the show started and expressed how I couldn’t wait to hear the upcoming track with Cody Bonnette and they told me to find them after the show. So I did and they ended up chatting with me and my friends for like an hour and played us Son of the Morning, In All Honesty, and World Without a Sun on a CD in their van lol. Such a great night that I will always remember. Very cool dudes. Really hoping Lucas pulls through. Also, would love if they hit the road again cause this was the only time I’ve seen them

 

Children of Fire is a god tier album that does not get enough recognition

I was lucky enough to see them on a UK tour. I think they supported Underoath but I could be completely wrong.

Dude, they toured with so many awesome bands for that When I Am God cycle...jealous. Your interaction with them sounds so down-to-earth and your face is priceless lol. Hearing "open your eyes child, your sea is changing" in A Banquet For Traitors back in the day is what did it for me, been a fan ever since. Wish Nate Grady was still in the band :(

I do miss the OG lineup tbh but as long as Micah and Shane are there then it’s Oh Sleeper

Also, I second the opinion that Children of Fire is one of the best metalcore albums in general. I remember listening to it and thinking it was going to be the new Define the Great Line in terms of influence. It’s perfect.

When I Am God is great

(Other than that I've only heard Son Of The Morning, but WIAG really holds up)

 

Definitely start with When I Am God

It's phenomenal

 

Listen to Children of Fire right god damn now! Their best by far

 

I still prefer When I Am God and I think @ChaseTx will agree with me on it

Yeah, it’s crazy to me that they didn’t blow up after CoF
