This was me yesterday trying to convince my wife that I'm "bearded Harry Styles" from my hotel bathroom. It did not work.
This thread is prejudice against non beards!!! But anyway, my brother has a beard. He has to shave it before he gets on airplanes tho.
The owners of the restaurant my mom works at are the same way. If one of them doesn't shave his beard, he's "randomly" chosen for extra security checks at the airport. He at least jokes about it and takes it in stride (although it's stupid it happens as such)
After this length, my beard goes to shit and just looks like pubes on my face. Pretty much try to stay at the 5'0 clock shadow length now.
Mine is pretty naturally even. Just have to keep the sides contained and shave some stray cheek hairs, and it's good to go.
For someone who's had a beard a long time, I've never taken great care of it. A friend of a friend gave me some of a beard oil he makes, but it reeks of clove and I am not about that. About the only thing I do is use Mr. Natty's Face Forest Shampoo and it doesn't really cut it by itself.
I usually grow mine out through the winter, like October to January-ish. I am found of this balm/oil during the process. It's not too oily and doesn't have a strong scent and I use a little comb with it and it feels really good. I also use a little Beardsly on it in the shower.
tbh, me neither. My above-average natural ability has sidetracked all motivation to put real effort into it, lol. #humblebrag I do want to try some stuff some time, though.
I actually didn't realize for a long time that beard oil or any kind of facial hair maintenance was really as important as it is. My beard used to drive me crazy and itch like hell before using oil everyday.
