This is petty, but how do some people get through life with such a stinking attitude? We go to our seats at the cinema and a someone was sitting in one of them. I am not looking for any aggro, its normally an honest mistake and thats the end of it. Tonight though, before i even got to say: "excuse me, i think these are our seats". The lady said abruptly - "I think you'll find I am in the right seat. We are 13 and 14". It was said with such authority a couple of rows of people all turned round to see what the commotion was about. I was taken aback, even if i knew i was in the right seat I would at least fake a "let me double check" and try to avoid a scene. There was absolute no effort to double check and she just sat there. I just said to her, "Is this row K?" - "Yes". I pointed to my ticket which said K14. Low and behold she groaned and checked her phone and she was in fact in K12 and 13. You would have thought her ticket had changed as opposed to her just fucking it up. Not even an apology as she moved over. I love allocated seating, but lesson learned, still go early to cinema to avoid this shit.
People who make a big deal out of things that aren't, with like condescending pity Like recently my friend was climbing barefoot over the rocks and said I should take my shoes off too to make it easier. I explained that my feet are kinda sensitive so it'd just hurt, and she said "how sad" like i was missing out on a pivotal life experience. Like I can still climb rocks with shoes on lol. Its not like my life is srsly damaged because of this. Or when ppl say they feel sorry for you because u don't like a certain band. Somehow I have lived all my life this way and I think I'll continue to make it thru, but thanx
It really grosses me out when people don't shut the toilet lid before flushing. Especially when they do it at my house. I don't want ur particles in my bathroom tbh!!
I'm the same way. What's weird is my aunt who is a germaphob I guess you can say and studied microbio leaves the lid open. Doesn't make sense
In public bathrooms, yeah low standards. But if someone didn't flush in my house omg they'd be banned 4 life who does that
People just need to put down their phones in general. Especially if they're interacting with other people. Also get off your bluetooth headset before entering a public restroom.
I guess one of my old roommates did that too now that I remember. I think she did it to conserve water or something.
But it doesn't make sense because I'm just flushing it anyway haha. The same amount of water gets used, I'm just now annoyed by it haha.
My brother lived with three of his friends in college and one of them would always be up before the others for his work/school. He'd go to the bathroom, poop, and never flush thinking it was a hilarious prank. My brother went and bought the exact plunger that they had, ran it under the faucet to get it wet and then threw it in that guys bed. Dude flushed every time after that.
When people are walking in the parking lot ridiculously SLOW while acknowledging you're there waiting for them to move over but they don't care and just look at you
It has nothing to do with the "right of way" because they werent crossing. They're walking in the middle blocking the entire lot with no curtosey move to the side or speed up.
I lived with a girl for a while who sometimes forgot to flush after she pooped, but would complain about other people in the apartment (there were 5 of us) not washing single mugs or plates. It was confusing. She was a terrible roommate.
Once saw a dude with remarkably straight and thick nose hairs protruding almost down to his lip. Could've grabbed those things and tugged like a beard.
Scariest shit I've ever seen is a dude at Disneyland had extremely long thick hair coming out of his ears
My office is in the in-law unit behind my boss's house and her 16 year old stepson often uses the bathroom (the one in the main house just has a bath, not a shower). I've walked in quite a few mornings to find a turd that's been there the entire night in the bowl. You've just inspired me. And I'm 99% sure my boss would give me her blessing.
Off putting thing about me is that I expect instant results and if I don't get them I just give up on whatever it is. Which I'm sure someone would love to write a millennial think piece about lol but it has nothing to do with that. I think I lack confidence and give up on myself easily + some depression lack of motivation. And then like two years later I think about it and am like grr if I'd have stuck with it I'd probably be more talented/fluent/toned whatever the goal is by now.
Agreed for mid 20's, honestly. Except I'd still prefer that to ghosting, which seems to be the preferred method for most folks my age. It's a major step past off-putting.
One time for English class we had to bring an album we loved and talk about it and I brought Sum 41's Chuck cause I always loved that album despite never having any of their other albums but anyway I distinctly remember this guy scoffing at me. A loud scoff! And sometimes I think about guy and am like yeah ur off putting even if it was 4ever ago!! I still stan for Pieces
